Giselle Alvarez
Dance
Giselle O. Alvarez is thrilled to join the faculty of IMTA! Her passion for dance began at age 3, later honing her craft at Miami City Ballet School. She performed professionally with Miami City Ballet, Carolina Ballet, and The Washington Ballet. As a contemporary dancer with CityDance Ensemble, she was sponsored by the US State Department as Cultural Ambassadors to tour internationally and teach dance classes to local communities. She currently resides in NYC and is in the Broadway Company of the Phantom of the Opera. Giselle is also a passionate MS Activist who is usually drinking cafecito and/or eating something delicious.
Robin Masella
Dance
Robin Masella is a Broadway performer born, raised, and living in NYC. Most recently Robin has been seen on Broadway in Disney’s Frozen the Musical. Other Broadway credits include Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and Cats. NYC / Off-Broadway credits include: Evita (City Center), High Button Shoes (City Center), I Married an Angel (City Center), West Side Story (Carnegie Hall), Trip of Love (Stage 42), and Candide at Lincoln Center. Robin has traveled the country in the National Tours of Evita and Chicago - where she understudied the role of Roxie Hart. She has worked regionally at Goodspeed Opera House, Sacramento Music Circus, The MUNY, Kansas City Rep, TUTS, Hartford Stage and The Old Globe. Robin was the Associate Director & Associate Choreographer for Chick Flick the Musical off-broadway, as well as a number of upcoming projects. Robin has also Choreographed for The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Follow @robinmasella
